One Kiddo, Two Households
Sep 07, 2017Being a step-mom is hard work some days; here is a recent blog that I wrote for our local moms blog! One Kiddo, Two Households - Everyone wishes for their happy ending, and I was lucky enough to find mine at 22 years old, but my happy ending had a little bit of a twist because I became wife and mama at the same time, and most 23 year olds wouldn’t want all that responsibility at once. Being a step mom is by far one of the most rewarding titles I have ever held, but it is also one of the hardest titles I have held, and I am so excited to be writing on the topic. As a step mom I have had to learn many new skills and I think that is important to share because I know first hand how scary and lonely holding the step mom title can be some days.
