Healthier Coffee Options - Starbucks Version

If you know me you know that I LOVE my starbucks! I used to be a barista at Starbucks and I loved their coffee prior to working there but have fallen more in love with it since working there! But also as someone who likes to live a mostly healthy life I shouldn't be drinking their specialty drinks day in and day out either! So that is where this blog topic came from. Here you will find some fun and yummy ways to get your coffee in without all the junk!


Summer inspired cold drinks

Flavored Iced Coffee- Grande Iced Coffee but instead of 4 pumps of classic syrup ask for 2 pumps of classic syrup and 2 pumps of the flavor you want example 2 pumps of caramel syrup to make it a caramel iced coffee. This drink will be around 80 calories.

Iced Americano- Grande Iced Caffe Americano with a splash of coconut or almond milk. This drink without a splash of coconut or almond milk is around 15 calories.

Vanilla Latte- Grande Iced Vanilla Latte with almond or coconut milk. This drink will be around 120-140 calories.

Iced Black Tea Lemonade- Grande Iced Black Tea Lemonade. This drink with no modifications will be around 90 calories. If you want more tea ask for this drink without ice.

Matcha Lemonade- Grande Matcha Lemonade. This drink with no modifications will be around 120 calories. If you want more tea ask for this drink without ice.


Warm Winter Inspired Drinks

Americano- Grande Americano with a splash of coconut or almond milk. This drink without a splash of coconut or almond milk is around 15 calories.

Vanilla Latte- Grande Vanilla Latte with almond or coconut milk. This drink will be around 140-160 calories.


Hot Tea- Grande Hot Tea- Earl Gray Tea, Royal English Breakfast Tea, Rev Up Brewed Tea, Honey Citrus Mint Tea, Jade Citrus Tea, Mint Majesty, Peach Tranquility, Comfort Brewed.

Brewed Coffee- Grande daily brew with a splash or coconut or almond milk


I am a sucker for a vanilla latte iced or hot as well as a hot white chocolate mocha those are for sure not the healthiest options but everything can be enjoyed in moderation! Share your favorite Starbucks recipe in the comments!
